Just a quick update following our last volunteer email — we can now confirm that we’ll be at Rathcormac this Saturday, 15th August! 🌿

- Finish: Approximately 1:00pm
We’ll be continuing our Himalayan balsam removal work and would love to see as many of you as possible.

As always, all equipment is provided and no previous experience is required.
Please bring sturdy footwear or wellington boots, long trousers and suitable clothing for the weather. If it’s wet, bring waterproofs, and if the sun decides to make an appearance, don’t forget your sun cream, hat and plenty of water.
We’ll also have our usual hot and cold drinks and biscuits available.
A massive thank you again to everyone who has helped us over the last few months. The hard work — particularly from those of you who’ve turned up in some pretty miserable weather! — is really paying off. We’re making a significant dent in the Himalayan balsam across the catchment, and that’s entirely down to the fantastic effort from our volunteers.
